Frequently asked questions
What is Zoom?
Zoom is a cloud-based video conferencing service you can use to virtually meet with others - either by video or audio-only or both, all while conducting live chats. You may need to quickly download the Zoom software on your device. If possible, please have your video and microphone available to use so that the teacher can see you and offer live feedback on your practice.
Is Zoom free?
How do I join a Zoom meeting?
After booking a livestream class, you will receive an email with a link to the upcoming Zoom meeting or a Zoom ID. It is not neccessary to have a Zoom account in order to join a Zoom meeting as an invited participant. You will only need to download the Zoom softward on your device. With Zoom Redirector (Google Chrome and/or Firefox) any meeting links are automatically redirected to use Zoom's browser based web client. Instead of having to search for the hidden "join from your browser" link, this addon will take you there automatically.
Can I use Zoom on my smartphone?
Yes! You can download the Zoom App on your smartphone. For your yoga practice however, I would recommend using a device with a larger screen (laptop/tablet) in order to better see the instructor and your fellow students.
